All Tune-ups Are NOT the Same

Always Insist on Seeing a Detailed List of Procedures

Most technicians confine their tune-up to the equipment alone. But balanced airflow through filters, over coils and through your ductwork and registers is CRITICAL to both your comfort and to the energy-efficiency of your system. We perform a static pressure test with every maintenance service. This is the only way to detect problems and to assess improvements after repairs.

Although some technicians do vacuum or wipe with a rag the heat exchanger, evaporator and condenser coils, your Balanced HVAC technician will clean these with CHEMICAL SOLVENTS. This is critical. Just 0.01 inch of dirt on an evaporator coil can reduce it's efficiency by 5%.

Some technicians ONLY inspect. We clean, measure & test with precision instruments, perform calculations, and adjust. We review our diagnostics with the homeowner and make recommendations for improved comfort, efficiency and safety.

NOTE: Balanced HVAC services and installs gas furnaces only. We do not service oil-burning appliances.
